PLATENHUIS ‘T OOR 40 JAAR!

Op zaterdag 15 maart vieren we dat we 40 jaar bestaan!
We zullen dit vieren met optredens en aanbiedingen, toeters en bellen en wat al niet meer.
De tweede naam die we bekend kunnen maken is Ad Vanderveen!
Dat brengt de voorlopige planning op:

TIP VAN BOB

LIMINANAS – Faded (2lp/cd) 39,95/17,95

Het is inmiddels vier jaar geleden dat ik The Limiñanas tipte. Dat was het album De Pelicula met Laurent Garnier. De hoogste tijd dus voor een nieuwe. Dat is Faded geworden en hierop worden zij bijgestaan door o.a. Bobby Gillespie van Primal Scream, Jon Spencer en Pascal Comelade. Maar het belangrijkste is natuurlijk: hoe klinkt het? Welnu, als The Limiñanas. Heel fijn om af en toe bands te hebben die zich niet in allerlei bochten wringen om zichzelf opnieuw uit te vinden. Op Faded klinken The Limiñanas als vertrouwd en dat is fijn. Meer hoeft ook niet, heerlijke aanrader dit.
