PLATENHUIS ‘T OOR 40 JAAR!

Op zaterdag 15 maart vieren we dat we 40 jaar bestaan!
We zullen dit vieren met optredens en aanbiedingen, toeters en bellen en wat al niet meer.
We kunnen in ieder geval vast vertellen dat Tim Knol & Bluegrass Boogiemen ons komen verblijden met een optreden om 12.00 uur.

Op zaterdag 12 april is het Record Store Day!
Zoals je gewend bent gaat dit gepaard met diverse unieke releases.

TIP VAN ROOS

VICES – Before It Might Be Gone (lp/cd) 27,95/16,95

Zelf omschrijven The Vices zich als een liefdesbaby van The Strokes en Cage the Elephant en dat is aardig treffend. Al vanaf hun oprichting in 2019 waren ze al snel in beeld bij de popronde, 3fm Serious Talent en KINK XL.
Inmiddels is dit het 3e album van de Groningse indierockers.
Op ‘Before It Might Be Gone” treffen we de band enerzijds vertrouwd rockend, anderzijds is er ook ruimte voor verbreding. Er mag wat meer gedroomd worden, maar zonder dat het zoetsappig wordt. Mede geproduceerd door Charlie Andrew (Alt-J), is het een evenwichtige plaat geworden.
The Vices zijn zelf net naar Amerika vertrokken voor een reeks concerten aldaar, maar in maart zijn ze alweer in enkele zalen in Nederland te vinden.
