Alweer eventjes uit, maar deze plaat is te goed om niet alsnog onder de aandacht te brengen. Naar eigen zeggen afkomstig uit de Noord-Hollandse polder, namen de 7 mannen en zangeres Roxanne Hartog in drie dagen tijd hun derde album ‘Keep It to Yourself’ op.
Beinvloed door stax en motown, als ook het klassieke New Orleans geluid geven The Tibbs er in 12 bruisende nummers toch een geheel eigen draai aan.
Denk aan een kruising tussen Amy Winehouse en Sharon Jones. Verdomd goed plaatje!
